So, Thursday the 21st of June we drove to Melbourne and got there mid afternoon, just in time to settle in, get the kids washed, and have a meeting with two Gateway representatives who had come over to talk to the presenters for the weekend. Thursday June 14 – We traveled to the lovely Tumbarumba area at the base of the foothills to the famous and romantic Snowy Mountains. Well we had a ball yesterday! We didn’t actually get to go and touch snow but we did see some from a distance. It was really pretty. First we went to the Red Stag Deer Farm where the ostriches and raindeer were the attractions. We had heaps of fun. There were about 26 of us in our group and it was awesome just hanging out, taking pictures and being together. Well, today is Sabbath the 9th and it today we ran the first program of the trip. I felt it went really well. We left home on the Tuesday and traveled down to Cedervale where they kindly loaned us their activities centre for the night. We also got a quick tour around their facilities which we really enjoyed. Well it’s Tuesday night and we are all just about to fall into bed ready to get up early tomorrow morning to depart for our ‘Southern Tour’. For weeks we had been planning to cut hay from our middle paddock. The grass was thick and good but the weather never seemed to be in a cooperative mood. We waited and waited but still it rained and rained and planned to rain. So finally we put our foot down so to speak and sent an email out asking everyone to pray.
